A Thank you letter regarding Special Olympics
Donated Toothbrushes at Special Olympics
I would like to take this opportunity to thank
the Connecticut
Dental Hygienist's Association for a very generous donation of toothbrushes for
the Special Olympics Urban Youth Day on
April 7th in New HavenAthleticCenter. Through your
kindness, each athlete that day was taught about the importance of daily oral
hygiene, including proper
toothbrushing. Additionally each athlete, numbering about 300 children, received a
toothbrush in their favorite color and walked away with a big smile. The schools that participated were from Bridgeport, Danbury, Hartford, New Britain, New Haven, Norwalk, Norwich, Stamford and Waterbury.
