Every Fall, the Connecticut Dental Hygienists' Association holds a multi-day meeting, named the Nutmeg Conference, designed to serve the diverse needs and interests of our profession and association.
The 2008 Conference hosted over 400 registered dental hygienists, educators, administrators, dental hygiene students, exhibitors and guests over two and one-half days. Hygienists from Connecticut as well as surrounding states participated in the educational, professional and social events.
Students from three Connecticut dental hygiene schools participated in the student program and House of Delegates.
About thirty companies exhibited at the trade show and/or sponsored selected events. An additional ten other companies provided door prizes and samples to our registrants.
The Connecituct Dental Hygienists' Association welcomes corporate sponsors to underwrite certain programs during the 2009 Nutmeg Conference.

HYLight, the newsletter of the Connecticut Dental Hygienists’ Association, Inc. is published quarterly. The newsletter contains updates on the regulations and practice of dental hygiene in the state, and important dates and events for dental hygiene related activities. There is also local component news and meeting times, membership information, Student ADHA news, editorials, research article reviews, employment opportunities, and articles by dental specialists.HYLight reaches over 500 members per issue with complimentary issues sent to dental groups throughout the country. The Summer issue is mailed to approximately 3000 registered hygienists in the state. This special issue contains the agenda and registration form for the Nutmeg Conference.
