October 2011 Speaker Bio:
Donna Broomall Cain is an acupuncturist licensed in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania. She works with several different populations—children, adults and seniors. The most common complaint that she treats is pain, pain from injury, autoimmune disorders, cancer support therapies, etc. She also treats women’s health issues including infertility. During the week, Donna works for Northeaster Rehabilitation Associates--a group of physicians that specialize in physical medicine. Donna also has a small private practice in Cross River, New York where she sees patients two days a week. Donna is a graduate of the TriState College of Acupuncture. She also has a MBA from the Wharton School , and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania .

Course objectives:
1. To understand the origins of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
2. To learn how Acupuncture works to mitigate pain and maintain health.
3. To get a working knowledge of how Acupuncture is applied.
